I Have a New Car But Not a New Sense of Direction

I recently got my first car – ever! It was very exciting. I’ve always felt that car ownership is one of the steps you need to take so you can fit properly into the category of ‘adult’. There’s something about controlling an environmentally-destructive death machine that feel so adult.  So I’m slightly more of an adult now. My beard hair is thicker, my voice is deeper because I have a car and can drive it around town. (more…)

A New Look!

I was recently in Edinburgh with my wife. While exploring the city – which is dripping with history, haggis and Harry Potter shops – an idea struck me.

I was facing the problem that I didn’t really know what I wanted to do in my career (or this website.) A next step seemed impossible. I kept separating myself into different roles (see my last blog post) and as a result, I was struggling to find a purpose. What did I want to do? What should I focus on? (more…)
