A podcast!
I’m in the middle of editing not one but three episodes of an upcoming, incredibly silly, podcast about Jane Austen. Alongside that I am occasionally typing into search engines questions like How to make a podcast good? and Why is everyone called John in ‘Sense and Sensibility’?
You know, important things.

(“What’s that?” I hear you ask, “weren’t you just in a Jane Austen play, Rhi? Sense and Sensibility, to be exact?” Why yes, I was, thank you for noticing. I’m available for autographs.)
I haven’t been this excited about a project for a while, and I can’t wait to announce it when it is all ready to go – but we’ve got a few things to do before we can do that*. Recording, mainly. Then editing. Then re-editing because I am a perfectionist.
*I’m saying ‘we’ here referring to myself and my fellow podcast hosts, Julie and Lynsey. This is not a ‘royal we’ situation. My ego is not that big (yet).
But if you are a Jane Austen fan, and you don’t mind a bad joke or two, this upcoming podcast might be the thing for you to enjoy while you sip on your afternoon tea. Watch this space.
(We are planning to launch the first episode during the winter holidays!)
See you next time.
