Buzz buzz buzz. 🐝
Someone called me a ‘busy bee’ earlier so that’s what the buzzing is all about. It’s not me slightly losing it from the stress and anxiety of packing and once again travelling.
(Why do I do this to myself?)
Still, I should try to remember the lessons I learnt when reading about slow travel. Taking it one step at a time. Appreciating the moment. Breathing. Buying as many snacks as you can carry*.
*pretty sure that was one of the lessons.

I’ll be in Pembrokeshire for the next week, living out of a tent and hoping the weather isn’t as bad as my weather app says it is going to be (they’ve been wrong before!).
What can I appreciate about this moment? Well, I am on a train with a working toilet (which was NOT the case on my last long train journey). The sun is out. I have convinced someone I don’t know to give me a lift when I arrive so I don’t need to worry about taxis. I have a seat on the train. I have as many snacks as I can carry (because lessons). I have not one but TWO books in case I get bored.
Honestly? This journey is looking pretty sweet at the moment. I appreciate this moment.
Maybe I’ll take a nap.
See you next time.
