“I’ve just arrived in Cardiff,” the woman says into her phone, loud enough for the mostly empty carriage can here. “Yes, I’ve just arrived and it made me feel emotional and you’ll never guess what happened… it started raining.” She pauses. “Yes, as I started feeling emotional. Raining. I told you so.”
She must feel emotional quite often, I decide, because it rains regularly around here.*
*I think it is a plot point in the film Men in Black 2 that whenever an alien princess feels sad it begins to rain? Not sure that is relevant, but I thought I would add it, just in case.
