I have found the optimal travel snack: it’s a slice of cheese.
A ‘mature cheddar’ for me, if I can find it. A flavour which the French would describe as bof – but I describe as delectable.
Something about the manufactured squareness of the whole thing brings pleasure to me. I don’t know why.
As an added bonus, you can make cheesy jokes while you eat it.
Jokes like this one:
What kind of cheese can you find in a Canadian forest?
A Camembear.
(This blog post was brought to you by severe travel fatigue. I apologise if anyone found it offensive, especially to those who are lactose intolerant and find the idea of cheese as a snack nightmarish.)
