This poem is haunted (Blogtober #21)

Today’s spooky thing is a children’s poem I wrote after my morning coffee. Was I dressed as a ghost?

Maybe.

There is a haunted house

There is a haunted house
in a haunted cul-de-sac,
with haunted windows and front door
and a haunted garden round the back.

There is a haunted house
on a haunted street,
with a haunted zebra crossing
that goes under haunted feet.

There is a haunted house
which is near a haunted shop.
You can by a haunted newspaper
or haunted lollipop.

There is a haunted house
quite close to a haunted school,
which is full of haunted classrooms
and a haunted swimming pool.

There is a haunted house
inside a haunted town
with haunted supermarkets
and haunted roads you can drive down.

There is a haunted house
now my ghost costume is complete
I’m going to haunt EVERYWHERE
and ask people: “Trick or Treat?”

I’m Rhi

I’m just a writer trying to live slower and be more observant of my feelings.

I am also a bit silly.

This blog is a mishmash of all that.
